"La Jefota" would be great. "Jefa" means "female boss" in Spanish. "Jefita" means the "little female boss." "Jefota" means the "TOP FEMALE BOSS."

BTW, Hawk can sleep all day and all night, but he has to be on the chat board tomorrow night. I might be a little late. The sister missionaries grabbed my boy and me for a temple excursion tomorrow night with an investigator. I hope to be back by the start of the second half.

There's no better conversion tool than The Jimmer and BYU basketball, I'm sure the sis. missionaries would understand. ;)

I agree with my full heart and I know what you say is true. I know with every fiber of my being, but, alas, the sister missionaries have been influenced greatly by the spirit that drives the anti-Jimmer, the spirit of Michelle. They don't seek true understanding, but I will pray for the spirit of Jimmer to move them to not to seek to interfere with the true work or to just plain move them out of the ward.

jefota can also mean "big boss" or "large boss" which while harmless in most latin cultures, can be somewhat offensive in US cultures.

Lady Hawk is my preference...Wasn't she a GI Joe character?

For those of you in my generation, you may remember Ladyhawke was a movie (1985), where the man was a wolf by night, and the woman was a hawk by day, so they could never truly be together. It all came out well in the end however. Watch it sometime - it's pretty good. It has Matthew Broderick, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Rutger Hauer.

So now when I picture "Wife of Hawkwing" in my mind, I picture her as looking like Michelle Pfeiffer. 8)

I think you're confusing Lady Jaye with General Hawk.

General Hawk or Hawk:http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080726132727/gijoe/images/thumb/c/c5/RAH_Hawk01.jpg/255px-RAH_Hawk01.jpg" alt="" loading="lazy" style="max-width:100%">

Yes, I'm back home. Glad to see none of you took advantage of the opportunity to run amok while I was gone.

Here's a quick heads up on what happened. Saturday night at 8pm (almost exactly) I suddenly felt like I had been shot in the stomach. I had an intense and sever pain in my upper abdomen. It went the rest of the night trying various recourses to feel better, including multiple trips to the bathroom, but it never got better.

In order to get some sleep I took a couple of antacids, which did seem to help a little. I was able to sleep for a few hours, but then woke up in worse pain than ever before. I got up and walked around the house for a few minutes, but the pain only got worse. I finally took a few more antacids and sat down in my chair. I finally fell asleep from exhaustion and slept for about another hour. When I woke up I knew I was in pretty bad shape and was wondering how much longer I'd wait until I asked my wife to drive me to the hospital. I was worried that I had a problem with my gall bladder (I didn't think it was appendix, as the pain was too high).

I gave it some time and was rewarded by some serious hard core vomiting. I cleared myself out and then for good measure vomitted more and more.

My wife ended up driving me to the hospital at about 5:30am. Every bump, turn, acceleration or braking almost killed me.

Once in the hospital they quickly got me some morphine which slightly dulled the pain. A few xrays later and they came in to let me know it was most likely that I had a gall stone which had caused my pancreas to become extremely inflamed. They ran some blood tests and some pancreas enzyme in my blood that should normally be around 300 was elevated to 57,000.

I was told I couldn't eat or drink for the next few days, as anything going into much stomach would cause the pancreas to excrete enzymes to digest food, but would get blocked and digest the pancreas (I guess thats bad).

Anyway, to make a long story short, things went well and the stone must have passed or stopped blocking wherever it was, as I didn't have to have surgery to remove the stone as they had originally planned for Tuesday. Instead my levels dropped really well, and I was able to have some fluids on Monday night. Tuesday I could have heavier fluids and a square of toast. Then I came home and slept from 4:30pm to 9:30am this morning.

I still find myself in a great deal of pain at times, but the pain medication I'm on really clears it out. Today I had 3 nilla waffers and some jello, so my in take has really shot up.

In a few weeks I will get my gall bladder removed, but luckily the recovery from that procedure is much easier than anything I'm going through now.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. You guys have been great.

Glad you're back and typing again.
