Flow or no flow, your job is to call violations. Not to interpret the things you are seeing as part of a grander scheme. The easiest way to stop them from happening, is call them a bunch - not to ignore them.



If a team is dumb enough to foul out all their players in the first half, we shouldn't be penalized for that.

And when half of our players have fouled out before half, what then? Would you be pleased with all the ticky tack fouls called? Would you be heaping praises and kudos upon the refs for doing such a fine, damn job or would you be all pissy, calling for their heads?

If they are calling it both ways I wouldn't care. I would be mad at the players for being stupid.



Do you realize who you are talking to? I have been one of the most anti-Davies "stupid fouls" on the board. I do not blame the refs for everything, not in the slightest. If you are fouling a guy because you can't keep up with him, that is your fault - not the fault of the player that is better than you.



You shouldn't be punished because you are physically or mentally superior than him. But there, you have reached the underlying cause of all of "society's" problems today... Those that can, are constantly being held back and punished by those that can't.



SEE: business, gov't takeover, the gov't aided and abbeted version of capitalism that we practice today, wellfare, the gifted students being passed over at the expense of normal and even handicapped students, gov't takeover of the healthcare system.... but I digress.



It's not fair of the weak to have to be weaker than the poor. It's a good thing we have refs for sports and the gov't for life to make everything fair and equal, so all can be equally un-amazing.
