Morning kickoff against the Utes

Having watched from Section 32 for thirty years, I have seen every kind of kickoff time imaginable against Utah. A morning start brings back memories of some old WAC days when the sun was barely coming over the east stands. Patience is key here for the players and the fans, especially with the early routine change. Good response by the staff to get everyone ready for an early whistle.

Anyone else heading down to Salt Lake or staying home for this one?

Section 32 is the best seat in the house for those early mornings when the sun is hitting the east stands. Love seeing our guys ready for the early whistle. Every four star recruit visiting LES needs to see this rivalry because they know guys like Puka and Fred Warner started right here on this turf before shining on Sundays. Getting up early builds the kind of pro toughness that scouts notice at the next level.

I'm not the biggest fan of the early start time. The Vampire Cougars are a thing because of how well the team plays at night. And has struggled in recent years when playing early games. But I do think it's also a disadvantage to the Utes and it helps negate some of the crowd. So I'll take that.

I won't even be around for this game, because I'll be boarding a cruise ship at the exact time the game is happening.
