I was pretty pumped with a couple of different things

• WR looked good, Legend looks like he will be a star. Kasper seemed solid, JoJo had a nice grab. TE will be a big part of the offense with Lyons and Saleapaga.

• RB looks like a really solid group, from 1-5. Eka was an exciting revelation.

• Defense looks aggressive. Utah Tech was getting the ball out so quick they couldn't really get anything developed.

• Kick returns won't all be as easy as what we saw, but looks like we got some good talent there.

• Bear had some nice throws and a couple of nice runs. He's looking good.

I was a little bummed about the pass pro. I think we should have been better against a team of Tech's caliber. But hopefully they are getting better.

What stands out to you?

• Legend Glasker's prominent role. He's going to be a big part of the Cougar offense

• TE with the Lyons OR Saleapaga

• Is that a receiver's group or a basketball team?

  • Kyler Kasper: 6'6", 212 lbs

  • Jojo Phillips: 6'5", 205 lbs

  • Reggie Frischknecht: 6'4", 200 lbs

  • Jaron Pula: 6'3", 200 lbs

• Linebackers are huge: Isaiah Glasker (6'5", 240), Siale Esera (6'3", 250), Tausili Akana (6'3", 235), and senior leader Cade Uluave (6'1", 230).

• Secondary Length: Faletau Satuala brings 6'4", 215 lbs to the Free Safety spot, and corners like Therrian Alexander III (6'2"), Kevin Doe (6'3"), and Matthias Leach (6'3") give BYU elite reach against Big 12 passing attacks.
